Neutron Generator Products

Plasma Adelphi Technology Inc. manufactures DD and DT based neutron generators and has products that may be operated continuously or pulsed. The generators have a controllable neutron output, and can generate any dose rate up to their maximum. We have Deuterium based generators products that have been measured to emit up to 4×10⁹ neutrons/second. The DD series of generators emit neutrons with a characteristic energy of 2.5 MeV. We have recently introduced a new product, a DT generator, which emits 14.1 MeV neutrons with an expected output of 10¹¹ neutrons/s.

DD109, medium output 2×10⁹ neutrons/second
(new) DD109X, high output 4×10⁹ neutrons/second
(coming-soon) DT111, very high neutron output expected to be approximately 10¹¹ neutrons/second.

We also hire out use of our purpose built neutron laboratory facility equipped with generators and various types of detector equipment such as He-3 detectors, BF₃ detectors, HPGe detectors, scintillators and PMT’s as well as having a state-of-the-art neutron radiography system based on an image intensified video camera. We have a strong research pedigree, and are keen to perform contract research or management services of experiments in large research laboratories.
